The Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Research Advancement (IDERA) Unit, hosted by the Institute of Public Health (IPH) at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University, is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to support its research activities in infectious diseases epidemiology. We are looking for a highly motivated and suitably qualified candidate with training, experience, and achievements in epidemiological research. The IPH at UAE University serves as a national hub for epidemiological studies on communicable diseases of public health importance to the UAE and the broader region. Research output from the IPH is regularly published in leading scientific journals. The successful candidate will not only contribute to research projects but will also play a key role in administrative support related to research activities within the IPH. Duties and Responsibilities: xefx83x98 Assist in designing and conducting epidemiological studies on infectious diseases. xefx83x98 Support data collection, management, and analysis using statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R). xefx83x98 Conduct literature reviews and synthesize evidence to support research projects. xefx83x98 Contribute to manuscript preparation and submission for peer-reviewed publications. xefx83x98 Assist in preparing research reports, presentations, and grant proposals. xefx83x98 Support research-related administrative tasks, including ethics applications, documentation, and coordination of research meetings. xefx83x98 Perform any other research-related tasks as required by the IDERA Unit and the Institute of Public Health
Minimum Qualification
A Masters degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field.
