Research Assistant

Job Description
The NWEC is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our interdisciplinary research group as a Research Assistant. The principal duties and responsibilities assigned to this position will include, but not limited to, conducting water resources research on spatiotemporal analysis to identify, measure, and monitor the effect of climate change on groundwater, with an emphasis on the use of AI/ML. The candidate should assist the senior researcher in the ongoing projects and researches and write research proposals, scientific reports, conference presentations, and peer-reviewed journal articles. In addition, the candidate is expected to have a multidisciplinary attitude and pursue excellent scientific results at an international level.
Minimum Qualification
A B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Computer Science with a specialization in water resources and hydrological modeling is required, with a strong emphasis on expertise in AI, ML.
