Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Research Analyst who will be able to develop themselves further in the role and strengthen Savills' current research offering. The right candidate is also expected to assume responsibility as the trusted point of contact in the UAE business for all ad hoc market data requests and lead any contributions to pitches and tenders, as required. Additional support will be required for carrying out detailed qualitative analysis on Savills' proprietary data sets across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Jointly develop, deliver and enhance Savills' current data collection and analysis programme within the UAE and wider Middle East markets Keep up to date with market trends and intelligence to support informed quarterly reporting Liaise with other business lines to ensure timely and consistent data sharing Develop and contribute to all regular market reports, in a style that is concise, coherent and creative Deliver analytical support for all department teams in the development of the in-house view of the property markets and one-off topic issues for use with clients and the press With guidance, undertake market analysis to support the delivery of any thought leadership papers. Contribute to fee-earning consultancy projects Develop and deliver a range of presentations on the property market for internal and external audiences, whilst also supporting the development of presentations for senior business leaders Actively contribute to broader team responsibilities within the global business Work with the marketing team to use data to produce and deliver bulletins, presentations, seminars, workshops and social media content Works independently on most areas, but with regular mentoring Build broad knowledge of principles and practices of related disciplines In time, identifying speaking opportunities for promotion of Savills' data sets Attend external networking events, keep abreast of market developments and share these regularly with the team and the business as required Develop a working knowledge of relevant software packages Develop an understanding of the relevant standards Evaluate, adapt and improve standards, techniques and procedures Contribute to wider projects as required Jointly responsible for the development, management and implementation of the team's client engagement programme through the arrangement of regular meetings, round table discussions and presentations Provide responsive and high-quality support to both internal and external clients

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

A minimum of 2 years' work experience in a real estate business environment, with relevant exposure to the UAE and property markets and third-party platforms such as Reidin, Quanta, MEED etc. Candidates with limited market exposure may be considered Highlight proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and overall data management Highly numerate and able to obtain, analyses, interrogate and interpret market data Understanding of third-party datasets, with a keen willingness to learn and develop a deeper understanding of the creation and maintenance of databases Experience of content generation and working with corporate social media would be advantageous, but is not essential Diplomatic and confident in presentation delivery Strong communication skills in English Ability to work on own initiative and have a proactive, positive approach Proactive and willing to learn Attention to detail Knowledge of Arabic is a plus, but not essential * Team player
