Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Statutory Reporting

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to IFRS standards

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process

• Prepare and review financial statements by providing variance analysis

• Maintain and continuously improve internal accounting systems and processes

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Oversee daily cash flow, forecast cash requirements and prepare rolling cash flow projections

• Manage utilization of banking products and working capital arrangements.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Coordinate the annual budgeting process with all stakeholders

• Analyze financial performance versus budget and provide insights to management, including cost control initiatives

Audit, Compliance & Controls

• Liaise with auditors to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits.

• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and strengthen financial accuracy.

Management Information Systems (MIS) & Analytics

• Review MIS reports and provide insights to management, highlighting key performance metrics and trends

• Develop dashboards and automate recurring reports where feasible.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and a professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA.

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably in retail, FMCG, or a similar sector.

• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards, taxation, and local compliance laws

• Advanced Excel skills. Proficiency in building dashboards (Powerpivot, Power BI) preferred

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
