Job Description

Scope of the role:

. Represent the entire State Street Organization in the Sultanate of Oman as the Senior Representative Officer in charge. . To perform Representative functions covering to make connections in Oman with Prospects to promote State Street's Products and Services across its 3 Divisions (Investment Services, Investment management and Balance Sheet Services). . Ensure to be the focal point for all Omani Institutions seeking financial services which STT offers through its Investment Services (Custody, Administration, Front to Back office, Data Management), investment Management (ETF's, Passive, OCIO) or Balance Sheet Business (Markets, Treasury)

What you will be responsible for

Industry Knowledge & Experience . Develop and stay current with STT key developments (ALPHA Platform) that differentiate us from the competition. . To maintain an understanding of Sovereign Wealth, Official Institutions, Asset Manager services and corresponding relationship requirements. . Maintain a high level understanding of all STT products and services covering bundled custody and fund accounting services as well as STT's expertise in Front to Back Office Services and data aggregation. (If a prospect is interested in any of those services work with SME's to move deal through sales cycles through to closing) . Develop relationships with external third-parties who will have influence over clients and prospects (e.g. consultants, associations, etc.). . Keep abreast of industry initiatives and ensure appropriate knowledge of AML, Compliance and internal policies/regulations.

Prospect/Client Engagement . Contribute to client account plans working closely with other colleagues in region within Investment Services and Investment Management . Develop senior level contacts within all identified names. . To identify cross-sell opportunities and formulate a plan to introduce SME's who can help to move those opportunities forward. . Co-ordinate with all others areas of SST to create cross selling opportunities for the firm . Work with the Country Head MENA in developing and maintaining an executive calling program for SSBT executives travelling to Oman form outside the Region. . Join regular reviews of service quality with the key strategic clients and the SSBT client service delivery team . In collaboration with the first (AML centre) and second (Compliance) lines of defence ensure the bank remains up-to-date with relevant KYC/AML requirements in Oman.

Managerial inside and outside of State Street . Demonstrate the 'Risk Excellence' culture in your behaviour . Develop effective working relationships and communications with clients and prospects to ensure they feel well developed and supported to facilitate and promote STT. . Ensure that the highest level of the Code of Conduct is displayed in your own behaviour

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Degree level or equivalent work experience Relationship Management / Business Development Technical Expertise (knowledge of Investment, Front to Back Office structures and to support and Investment management) Network of contacts in the Private and Public Sector Proven ability to deliver Attention to Detail Ability to work under pressure Leadership
