YOUR ROLE

• Ensure that tests are performed with accuracy, completeness and in compliance with the established standards.
• Work alongside the process chemistry and production teams to develop and validate appropriate analytical methods.
• Actively participate in troubleshooting efforts to resolve scientific challenges and root cause analysis.
• Prepare method validation and/or method transfer protocols and reports.
• Train other staff on laboratory work, techniques, and instrumentation and liaise effectively with all other internal departments.
• Lead or participate in multi-regional, multi-functional product development teams with contribution to publications and patents.
• Prepare technical documentation to support manufacturing, control plan, laboratory SOP\xe2\x80\x99s and technical training materials.

YOUR SKILLS

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in chemistry or related technical field with 5-7 years minimum experience in the reactive resin testing and manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of reactive resin chemistry in the areas of epoxy, polyurethane, polyurea, MMA, vinyl esters/polyesters, silicones and others.
• Proficient in reactive resin formulation and good understanding raw materials and functions

Working knowledge of PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) and its application. * Good working knowledge in thermoplastics and thermosets.

• Proficient usage of Fluorescence Microscope, TGA, DSC, FTIR, UV-Vis and Rheometer.
• Fluent in PowerPoint, Excel [charts and graphing], Word.
• Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14001 practices.
• Proficient in formulating epoxy adhesives and costing, polyurethane coatings, polyurea coatings, polyurethane sealants, silicone sealants, silicone coatings.
