Reliability Engineer (Consultant) Cohesive EMEA Location: Office/Home/Hybrid Middle East (to be considered - UAE, Saudi Arabia)
Position Summary
Cohesive EMEA seeks a talented individual to serve as a Reliability Consultant having worked as a Reliability Engineer with the capability to translate the engineering background and knowledge into software configuration and consultancy. The role would be working with the AssetWise Reliability (APM) software product, from the Bentley Systems parent company, inside the Cohesive Professional Services organization. This role reports to the Services Manager/Director responsible for project delivery using the AssetWise Reliability software. Cohesive EMEA provides professional services to users of the Bentley Asset Management software suite used by owners and managers of infrastructure assets. This Consultant role will collect requirements, implement software solutions including testing, provide documents and training and be involved in promoting solutions to new users as well as supporting existing users and systems.
This role will ideally be based in a location able to support EMEA and Middle East projects working with colleagues, teams and projects spread throughout EMEA. Travel will be expected to client sites throughout the Middle East and if needed globally based on project demands. Travel could be in excess of 50% of the working time.
Your Day-to-Day
  • Working with the AssetWise Reliability (APM) software product and associated tools
  • Participating as part of a team in the solution definition of user projects by translating requirements and processes into functional design for configuration and addition into software
  • Draft functional and business requirements documents
  • Update and maintain functional and business requirements documents.
  • Working day to day with the software, configuring the overall solution to the requirements of the end user. This could be new project implementations or extensions and additions to existing systems.
  • Create and execute test plans based on user requirements.
  • Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal users and stakeholders to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver requirements documents as needed.
  • Working within the team to identify and validate business objectives and generating/proposing solutions that align with Cohesive\xe2\x80\x99s business strategy and standards.
  • Ability to conduct remote and face-to-face training to end-users and system administrators.
  • Ability to participate in technical meetings and workshops in relation to the implementation of the software or technical tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team
  • Three to Five years\xe2\x80\x99 Reliability expertise - Working knowledge of Reliability concepts, RCM, FMEA, RBI, Asset Prioritization, Failure Analysis, maintenance, inspection etc. in relation to industrial locations/plants.
  • Experience of working with Reliability focused software and processes, software implementation and configuration
  • Understanding and ability to analyse business processes and translate into software configuration.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering, IT, Computer Science or related field of Reliability, Inspection and Maintenance is preferred. Equivalent in work experience will be considered.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex processes, software issues and software configuration.
  • Strong analytical and customer relationship skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret user business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, engineers, and subject matter experts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required including the ability to analyse data.
  • Experience with office productivity tools, multiple web browsers, online communication tools
  • Ability to work unsupervised under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent action or under the direction of an assigned Project Manager
Desired, but not Required Qualifications
  • Understanding of work management systems, CMMS systems or knowledge of any of the following: SAP PM, Oracle, SQL, Maximo, Infor, EAM systems, Reliability and Maintenance systems
  • Any experience in the areas of technical business analysis, software lifecycle development, software implementation and configuration, engineering. Preference to Reliability, Inspection and Maintenance software implementations
  • Technical experience such database building or complex software configuration
  • Experience working for Application Service Provider (ASP) or Software as a service (SaaS) company.
  • Experience working with colleagues and software development teams located across EMEA and globally.
