We are looking for experienced Release and Integration Engineer for C++ software (m/f/d). Join our team of enthusiastic and experienced engineers to ensure software delivery of the entire Body & Gateway component of the autonomous driving software running in the future vehicles of a renowned German automotive manufacturer.

Responsibilities

Continuous delivery of software builds for the project as required by the customer.


Maintenance and continuous improvement of release automation scripts and jobs.


Interact with teams of engineers from multiple disciplines to solve issues relating to software integration and the build and delivery of software releases.


Handle all communication and distribution of information for issues relating to software releases.


Participate in Scrum and Sync Meetings with the customer.


Keep project software release documents and wiki pages up to date.


Coordinate with the developers to successfully build and deliver software for testing and verification of special features.

Skills

Must have


Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar qualification


Skilled in Python and Bash scripting ideally


DevOps, software integration or build engineering background, as well as a good understanding of the software development lifecycle


Proficient in SCM (Source Code Management) with Git and Github at the advanced or expert level


Experience with ZuulCI, Jenkins Pipeline or similar CI/CD tools


Good understanding of software development tools like Docker and Artifactory


Able to communicate and present information in a confident manner


English language written and spoken


Strong customer focus, assertiveness, organization and attention to detail


Highly motivated individual


Nice to have


Coding skills / software development experience in OOP technologies (at least 3 years of experience) to understand the codebase


Strong DevOps background


Problem solving and Critical thinking skills


Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills


Passion and proactivity (Intrinsically Motivated)
