Job Description

The Relationship Officer - Banking Services is responsible for managing and supporting clients through the corporate bank account opening process after business setup. The role involves liaising with banks, maintaining relationships with relationship managers, guiding clients through documentation and compliance, and ensuring timely execution of banking-related services.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients in selecting suitable banking solutions based on their company structure and activities. Manage the end-to-end process of corporate bank account opening, including scheduling appointments and document collection. Maintain strong working relationships with bank relationship managers and act as the key contact between the client and the bank. Educate clients on bank requirements, documentation, KYC norms, and account types (Mainland/Free Zone/Offshore). Ensure proper verification of client documents before submission to the bank to avoid delays or rejections. Track and update the status of each account opening in CRM tools and internal trackers. Follow up consistently with clients and banks to ensure smooth and timely account openings. Handle client concerns, inquiries, and escalations related to banking services. Promote additional financial services such as merchant accounts, international banking, currency exchange, or credit facilities. Maintain an updated understanding of UAE banking policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a similar role in a business setup company in the UAE. Solid understanding of UAE corporate banking processes and KYC/AML regulations. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Customer-oriented approach with attention to detail and follow-through. Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
