Job Description
Working within a university the incumbent will be responsible for registration of students. This will include administering the university\'s registration, scheduling, academic records processes, provision of accurate advice to students and faculty members on related policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Registration: Overseeing the online registration process, being the the point of contact for student queries, and providing guidance and support when required.
- Scheduling: Responsible for coordination and production of the class schedule in the student information system in consultation with the Associate Registrar. Deal with any issues arising.
- Record Keeping: Responsible for the maintenance and administration of all e-services and academic forms related to student records. Address students\' and faculty members\' queries about information and policies related to students\' academic progress. Produce any records for students/faculty as required.
- Student interaction: Ensure students understand the University\'s policies and procedures relating to registration, attendance, add/drops, and progression. Respond to any student questions and concerns, work to ensure successful resolutions.
- General Administration: Ensure a high standard of record keeping. Provide any administrative duties as required.
To be suitable for the role you will need to be a UAE National with previous experience in the higher education sector.
Additionally you will need to be educated with a degree (minimum) and have a high attention to detail and communication.
