Registered Veterinarian – Poultry Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Veterinarian with a strong background in poultry health and production systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in broiler and egg production, feed and nutrition, and preferably experience with free-range bird management. GCC experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the health and welfare of poultry flocks (broilers and layers). Diagnose and treat poultry diseases and implement preventive health programs. Advise on feed formulation and nutritional strategies to optimize performance. Monitor and improve biosecurity, vaccination, and hygiene protocols. Provide technical support on free-range bird management practices. Collaborate with farm supervisors and production teams to ensure optimal flock performance. Maintain accurate veterinary records and reports.
Requirements:
DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent qualification. Valid veterinary registration/license. Minimum 5 years of experience in poultry veterinary practice. Strong knowledge of broiler and egg production systems. Experience in feed and nutrition management. GCC experience preferred. Experience with free-range birds is an advantage. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred. However, qualified applicants from outside the UAE may also be considered.
