Job Overview
The Registered Scrub Nurse will be responsible for preparing the operating theatre, supporting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring all patients receive compassionate, high-quality care in a safe clinical environment. This role demands excellent knowledge of surgical techniques, patient safety protocols, and electronic medical record systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and the clinical team during procedures with a sterile and organized surgical environment
• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments before procedures
• Monitor patients\' vital signs and respond quickly to any signs of complications
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort before, during, and after surgery
• Comply with DHA regulations and follow infection control protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records using clinical software systems
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthetists, and surgical support staff to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with inventory, sterilization, and availability of surgical instruments and materials

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Registered Nurse
• Valid DHA license (eligibility alone not sufficient)
• Current BLS certification (mandatory); ACLS/PALS preferred
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Skilled in EMR systems and clinical documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
