Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Paediatric Nurse, with a passion for High Quality and strong clinical experience of paediatric care to join our expanding team, to deliver a high standard of care to our patients at the clinic.

The ideal candidate should have excellent clinical skills, empathetic communication and interpersonal skills and an all round professional demeanour with a focus and drive on wanting to improve patient well being.

This is a full time, on-site role providing services within an MDT working environment consisting of Family medicine and other licensed Clinicians.

Responsibilities:

Able to conduct and support Patient Assessments of paediatrics and other patients, to provide an overview of the patients healthcare needs Ability to develop and support Care Plans in collaboration with patients, families and other health care professionals. Adheres to all relevant healthcare standards, regulations and ethical practice.

Medical:

Knowledgable with theory and practical experience in Nursing Skills from taking observations to identifying an unwell patient and escalating. Strong Core nursing skills in documentation, quality and infection control in paediatrics. Knowledge of DHA regulations and requirements Skilled in Blood Collection and Phlebotomy in paediatrics and other age groups. Experienced in injections, wound care and other nursing procedures Knowledge of Safeguarding and escalation

Education and Training:

Able to support and ensure patients and their families understand their diagnosis and planned health care. Offer support and guidance for family members also involved in the patients care. Reassures patients and their families, using up to date evidence based practice

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with DHA, or has Eligibility Letter Ability to work independently and in as a MDT member Experience of clinic or Home care or similar setting Able to start immediately if successful or with shortened notice period. A level of flexibility is required for this role.
