We are HIRING for Operation Theatre Nurse with HAAD/DOH/DHA/MOH License Familiarize and comply with all OSHMS policies, standards and procedures that are relevant for their workplace. Attend applicable facility and departmental safety training and follow OSHMS policies and procedures. Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and the environment Take reasonable care for the health and safety of colleagues and the environment that may be affected by the employee' acts or omissions at the workplace. Cooperate with XXX-Abu Dhabi Managers and OSH team with respect to any action taken by them to comply with OSHMS requirements. Notify supervisor or department safety representative of any hazards, mishaps or incidents within or outside their area of work. Ensure any outsourced staff or contractors do not enter area without appropriate work permits and PPE Provides age appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi. Adheres to and promotes the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct of Abu Dhabi. Supports promotion of health and delivery of health education. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of holistic patient care in accordance with the DASH's policies, procedures and scope of service. Assist in the development of nursing standards, ensuring they meet professional, organization, legal and ethical requirements. Identify priorities and implement holistic nursing care for patient and family in a care setting that meets the needs of the patients. Actively participates in meetings, rounds and case conferences in the role of primary nurse. Ensures documentation reflects a continuous, systematic and accurate nursing care of all patient care events. Ensure patient and family are provided with comprehensive information and resources to meet their health care needs. Implements a plan of care by providing nursing care and education directly or through ancillary personnel, as needed, to maintain and restore function and prevent complications and further loss. Empower patient and family through appropriate support and education. Demonstrates critical thinking, conflict management, negotiation and problem-solving ability. Promotes an interdisciplinary team approach based in mutual respect and direct communication between health professionals. Organizes and priorities own workload without direct supervision reporting any issues, concerns or personal limitations, to the team leaders. Performs in-charge duties as delegated. Assumes accountability and responsibility for their own practice and does not carry out tasks beyond their level of competence. Undertakes activities that promote health, reduce risk, prevent disease and optimize patient potential. Recognize and manage early symptoms of disease exacerbation and acute illness based on an understanding of disease, disease process and current evidence and practice standards and manage the situation appropriately. Provides care and attention to the needs of vulnerable patients including risk assessment and taking appropriate action as required. Facilitates a climate of mutual understanding, and appreciation of cross-cultural differences inherent in a multicultural society. Actively supports and participates in quality improvement and research initiatives. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide patient and family-centred care. Administers medications according to DASH policies and procedures. Understands the actions of medication and contraindications, evaluates patient's response and identifies side effects and initiates appropriate action. Reports Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR's) and Medication errors in accordance with RHRH policy. Demonstrates a working knowledge of resource consumption and practices within a cost-effective framework. Identifies significant changes in patient conditions, initiates appropriate action and reports to immediate supervisor or physician as appropriate.
