Registered Nurse - Operating Theatre (OT)
(with Orthopedic Surgery experience)
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse specialized in the Operating Theatre with a focus on Orthopedic Surgery. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring safe and effective surgical care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during orthopedic procedures (e.g., joint replacements, fractures, spinal surgeries).
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure sterility is maintained throughout surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses during surgery.
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and specimens with care.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care and education.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital protocols.
• Document surgical procedures and patient conditions accurately.

Requirements:

• Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Theatre, with a strong focus on Orthopedic Surgery.
• In-depth knowledge of orthopedic instruments, procedures, and aseptic techniques.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations.
• BLS/ACLS certification is preferred.
