Job Description
- Monitor the flow of patients and subordinates and direct them to assure that patients are adequately managed, and the practice runs smoothly and effectively while coordinating the delivery of care practices across health care settings.
- Conduct an individualized patient assessment, prioritize the data collection based on the patient’s immediate condition or needs within specified time frame by DHAMAN’s policies, procedures or protocols.
- Assess and systemically collect any data related to patient health status and collaborate with the care team to develop the plan care.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as established by individualized plan of care for the patient and his/her family.
- Provide care that is safe, compassionate, ethical, patient – and family – centred, age specific, culturally congruent and evidence – based.
- Utilize evidence – based ambulatory care nursing interventions efficiently during clinical visits, telephone encounters, and electronic communications.
- Prepare, hang, monitor and discontinue IV fluids depending on the needs of the patient.
- Perform the procedures which include but not limited to ECGs, dressing changes, subcutaneous or intra –muscular injections, nebulization, oxygen therapy, etc. as required.
- Initiate emergency resuscitative measures according to adult resuscitation and advanced life support protocols.
