Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented

DHA Registered Nurse

to join our Eye Clinic. The nurse will support ophthalmologists in delivering high-quality patient care, assist with eye examinations and procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their clinical journey.

Key Responsibilities

Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations, diagnostic tests, and minor surgical procedures Prepare patients for consultations, treatments, and surgeries Administer prescribed medications, including eye drops and injections, as per physician orders Perform basic ophthalmic tests such as visual acuity, intraocular pressure (IOP), and refraction (as per training) Maintain infection control and sterilization standards in accordance with DHA guidelines Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the physician Educate patients on eye care, medication usage, post-procedure care, and follow-up instructions Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families Ensure patient comfort and confidentiality at all times Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, clinic policies, and safety standards Assist in audit preparation and quality improvement initiatives Coordinate patient flow within the clinic Assist with appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups when required Manage and maintain medical supplies and equipment
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution

Valid DHA Registered Nurse License

(mandatory) Minimum

1-2 years of nursing experience

, preferably in ophthalmology or a clinical setting Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and equipment is an advantage Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
