Key Responsibilities1. Clinical Care & Patient Management
Conduct triage, comprehensive nursing assessments, vital signs, initial evaluations, and record-keeping.
Administer medications and injections (intramuscular, subcutaneous, IV as needed), adhering to local/national guidelines.
Provide wound care: dressing changes, sutures, staples removal, and related procedures.
Assist physicians during examinations, minor procedures, and diagnostic testing.
2. Patient Education & Counseling
Educate patients and families on disease management, medication use, post-visit instructions, and lifestyle/diet guidance.
Facilitate patient empowerment through clear communication and supportive care.
3. Coordination & Communication
Serve as the liaison between physicians, patients, lab staff, and external providers.
Schedule follow-ups, referrals, and diagnostic appointments.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
4. Infection Control & Safety
Maintain strict infection control protocols (hand hygiene, PPE use, sterilization).
Monitor equipment safety and resolve minor issues; raise critical concerns as necessary.
Actively participate in clinic-wide safety drills and quality improvement initiatives.
5. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Participate in chart audits, patient satisfaction surveys, and internal audits.
Uphold regulatory compliance with MOH, DHA, DHA, or other relevant health authorities.
6. Administrative & Team Support
Assist reception during busy periods with appointment check-ins, vitals collection, etc.
Monitor and manage medical supplies inventory; request restocking in advance.
Attend team meetings, in-service training, and continuing education sessions.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Licensing
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Valid RN license recognized by UAE health authority (e.g., DHA/DHA/MOH).
Additional accreditation/certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS) preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach.
Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
Knowledgeable in EHR systems and comfortable with accurate documentation.
