About the job:

Skilled Registered Nurse with a valid DHA Registration/ License to join us at our Medical Fitness Center to provide quality care, including blood sample collection and other basic nursing duties. The ideal candidate will be proficient in venipuncture, patient assessment, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively with customers, explaining procedures to ease their concerns. Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures accurately and safely. Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing according to standard protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to infection control practices. Supervising junior nursing staff, including nursing assistants and student nurses. Maintain patient confidentiality and provide exceptional care. Ensure cleanliness and functionality of phlebotomy equipment. Follow safety protocols for a safe environment. Collaborate with medical and lab staff for timely results. Keep detailed records of specimens and procedures. Participate in ongoing education and training.

Operations and Compliance

Co-ordinate with Dubai Health and Dubai Health Authority as when needed including Audits and inspections Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures. Ensure compliance with radiation protection and safety standards. Educate and reassure patients about the blood sample collection process. Follow infection control and hygiene protocols. Stay updated on best practices and advancements in phlebotomy techniques. Coordinate with Admin Team to arrange timely AMC of the Medical Equipment's in the Center. Participate in continuing education and training sessions. Closely work with the Operations Supervisor and Medical Director Adhere to the Dubai Health and DHA environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines.

Technical & System Handling

Able to operate Vital Sign Monitor Able to operate Centrifuge and prepare the samples for logistics i.e. delivery to the central lab.

Teamwork & Professional Development

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance job knowledge and skills development.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Basic Life Support Certification which is valid. Valid DHA Eligibility/License to practice in UAE.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of Nursing experience Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

Language:

Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
