Job description \xc2\xb7 The Registered Nurse will provide general nursing to include but not limited to: Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients\' conditions to the Clinical Manager and other members of the multi-disciplinary health team, as is appropriate. \xc2\xb7 The registered nurse is expected to be competent and skilled in providing: Wound care, tracheostomy and peg tube care, personal hygiene care including continence management, Urinary catheter insertion \xe2\x80\x93 both male and female, IV cannulation and infusion phlebotomy and taking vital signs. \xc2\xb7 To administer medications as prescribed by a physician and understand the possible side effects and adverse reactions. To adhere to the 5 rights of administering medications; Right route, Right time, Right dose, Right patient, Right drug, Right documentation and be competent at administering by all routes; Oral, IV, PR, PV, Subcutaneously, Intramuscular, sublingual and topically. \xc2\xb7 Competent in managing Diabetic patients and possible adverse events of diabetes. \xc2\xb7 Communication: Able to communicate effectively with clients and all EHN staff in an appropriate manner that is relevant to the situation. Communicate and fully explain procedures to a client or reporting changes and sharing information with the client. Able to improve and maintain effective communication through the use of proper skills which could include - listening skills, verbal/non-verbal skills and questioning skills. \xc2\xb7 Supervise and Monitor the safety of children in your care. Provide childcare by assisting with hygiene, feeding and playtime activities. This could include preparing and cooking food for the client/child only. \xc2\xb7 Provide emotional support and companionship for patients. \xc2\xb7 Accurately complete all nursing records as per DHA requirements. Ensure that the client has received a copy of the Home Care consent form and it is signed with a copy secured in the EHN office. \xc2\xb7 Respect confidentiality of patient information by ensuring that nursing documents and conversations pertaining to patient care are secure. \xc2\xb7 Assist in providing a clean & safe care environment. This includes placing dirty laundry in the appropriate place, washing any household goods that has been used. \xc2\xb7 Adhere to EHN Infection Control Policies and Procedures at all times. \xc2\xb7 Adhere to EHN Health and Safety Policies and Procedures. \xc2\xb7 Report all incidents/concerns to the Clinical Manager as soon as possible and complete incident report form. \xc2\xb7 Take responsibility for own developmental learning and performance. Complete CMEs to maintain DHA license. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a professional attitude at all times. \xc2\xb7 Adhere to EHN Nursing responsibilities at all times. \xc2\xb7 Attend all mandatory training as scheduled. Essential Education & Experience \xc2\xb7 Current DHA License \xc2\xb7 BSc Nursing degree or Diploma in Nursing. \xc2\xb7 2 years continuous hospital experience in Home country. \xc2\xb7 Valid registration/license in country of graduation. \xc2\xb7 Valid Good standing certificate from previous employer/licensing body. \xc2\xb7 All educational certificates attested. \xc2\xb7 Verified dataflow report Specific Knowledge/ skills \xc2\xb7 Good rapport with patients \xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of best nursing practices and policies \xc2\xb7 Ability to work well under pressure and in fast paced environment \xc2\xb7 Ensure to be passionate about the role and have a fondness for caring for people Aware of the DHA homecare standards/requirements Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED6,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
