Job Description
The Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct and indirect clinical care to patients. They will competently function as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide patient and community centered care.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in family practice settings, skilled nurse facilities, and acute care settings including isolation units as patient conditions require. Assist medical providers with procedures and treatments as allowed within licensed scope of work. Assessment and documentation of the patient's vital signs, chief complaints, medical history, and prescribed medications. Establish observable and documentable patient goals utilizing appropriate care plans. Report all changes in patient's conditions to the medical provider. Proactively and independently administer basic care, including but not limited to inserting catheters with blood specimen collection, urine collection and EKG's, visual acuity, basic wound care.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited nursing program or international equivalent. Must hold valid, current QCHP nursing license. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience. Experience in a clinic or hospital setting. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and multi-task effectively.
