The Registered Nurse (Female) with dental experience is responsible for delivering individualized patient care by promoting and restoring oral health through the nursing process. The role involves close collaboration with dentists, physicians, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families, and ensuring a safe, sterile, and well-organized clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Assistance
Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures.
Assist the dentist during oral examinations and dental procedures.
Reassure and comfort patients before, during, and after procedures.
Provide post-procedure education and care instructions.
Be prepared to provide first aid and respond to emergencies during procedures.
Clinical Support
Arrange dental instruments, materials, and medications prior to procedures.
Assist patients during dental X-ray procedures.
Take intraoral and extraoral photographs as required.
Mix and prepare dental materials for fillings.
Prepare tooth impressions and dental molds.
Safety & Compliance
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment in compliance with clinic policies.
Protect patients and staff by strictly adhering to infection control protocols.
Ensure compliance with dental guidelines, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Female Registered Nurse
Valid
HAAD License
(Required)
Proven experience in dental or oral healthcare settings
Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
