Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate

Registered General Nurse (RGN)

with

3-5 years of proven experience

in

Medical-Surgical, Operating Room (OR), Preoperative, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

settings. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care, support surgical teams, and ensure optimal patient outcomes across the perioperative continuum.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in

medical-surgical wards, OR, preoperative, and PACU units

. Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and manage post-operative recovery. Prepare patients for surgery, including preoperative assessments and education. Deliver compassionate care, emotional support, and clear communication to patients and families. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, interventions, and progress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and adherence to hospital policies. Uphold infection control standards and patient safety guidelines.
Qualifications

Valid

Registered General Nurse (RGN) license/registration

. Minimum

3-5 years of clinical experience

in Medical-Surgical, OR, Preoperative, and PACU settings. Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices, patient monitoring, and emergency response. Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Skills

Certification in

Basic Life Support (BLS)

and

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Specialized training in perioperative nursing or critical care.
