Implement one-on-one behavior therapy sessions with clients, following individualized treatment plans designed by the BCBA.
Use ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques such as positive reinforcement, prompting, and task analysis to teach and reinforce new skills.
Address challenging behaviors through intervention strategies, ensuring a supportive and structured environment.
Accurately record data on client behavior, responses, and progress during each session.
Maintain organized records and submit data to the supervising BCBA for analysis and program adjustments.
Work closely with the supervising BCBA to discuss client progress, challenges, and potential modifications to treatment plans.
Communicate effectively with families and caregivers, providing updates on client progress and strategies to support learning and behavior outside of therapy sessions.
Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA techniques and behavior therapy.
Stay informed about best practices in ABA and relevant fields to ensure the highest quality of care.
Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards in ABA practice, maintaining client confidentiality and promoting a safe and respectful therapy environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Diploma in related psycho-analysis field
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is highly desirable or willingness to obtain RBT certification.
Valid DHA or DOH license or eligibility.
Previous 2 years of experience.
Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.
