Your Mission

We're looking for a leader who starts with the "why" and is ready to drive predictable, high-quality growth in the Middle East. You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on engagement, ensuring quality outcomes for our customers, your team, and the company. This role is about collaborating as one team across all functions to deliver seamless, customer-centric sales plays.


Take full ownership of the region's performance, driving the journey from pipeline generation to revenue realization. Champion the Backbase sales operating model to ensure we focus on well-qualified, high-value opportunities. Recruit, coach, and lead a world-class sales team, embedding a culture of urgency, accountability, and continuous learning. Drive cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Partner Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to ensure the customer journey is seamless. Establish yourself as a recognized expert and thought leader in the region, actively participating in industry events and forums. Build deep, trust-based relationships with C-level stakeholders, positioning Backbase as a strategic partner.

We are looking for a radically honest, action-oriented leader committed to raising the bar. You should be a proven sales expert who understands that banking is complex, but our solutions shouldn't be - so you have a drive to keep it simple. The ideal candidate not only has the experience to lead complex B2B sales cycles but also truly embodies the Backbase Code.


Proven sales leader with a strong track record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing enterprise sales teams. Extensive experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles, preferably in software or fintech environments. Possess the executive presence and ability to build lasting, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders at financial institutions. Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, pipeline management, and sales forecasting. Demonstrates a customer-obsessed, action-oriented, and radically candid approach, committed to continuously raising the bar for the team.
