The Position We are hiring a Regional Vendor Manager , based at Dubai. The position reports to the Head of Clinical Development & Operations IMETA. The Regional Vendor Manager contributes to the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) strategic partnership ensuring the multiple complex interfaces are seamless and efficient and that pipeline commitments are delivered with maximum speed and highest customer value. Responsible for vendor engagement including oversight of quality, performance, contractual and financial oversight, as well as continued enhancement of the CRO strategic partnerships and vendor relationships. Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Leads vendor governance process
  • Accountable for CRO and vendor issue resolution
  • Assesses the CRO and vendor performance
  • Leads onboarding of vendor staff, oversees staff transition
  • Serves as a subject matter expertise in areas of vendor management practices and principles
Requirements:
  • Bachelors in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or related discipline
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree will be a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Clinical Operations within pharmaceuticals/CRO
  • People management experience
  • Vendor management experience is a plus
  • Experience within the region is desirable
  • Business fluent in English in its oral and written form
  • Knowledge of additional local language will be a plus
