About the role

The Regional Training Coordinator will work alongside the central Global Retail Academy team and Regional Stakeholders to regionalise the content and support the roll-out of Technical, Product and Commercial training across the APAC & Middle East region. As a fast-expanding brand it is key that Lotus delivers a training programme which is aligned globally and supports the retail network, external suppliers and business subsidiaries to deliver the challenging business KPIs.

The post holder will work in partnership with our Retail Academy team and the regional network to understand specific gaps and learning needs for the region that can be addressed by blended learning and deliver these across a number of languages. This will include the regionalisation of the core content to ensure it is fit for purpose in market.

It is critical that the Lotus franchise network in the region engages with and fully utilises the Global Retail Academy training program and it is the Regional Training Coordinator\'s responsibility to track, manage and influence their engagement. The post holder will be comfortable with the full end-to-end automotive training process and work closely with the central Retail Academy team to make regional training content available and accessible to the regional network.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with the Retail Academy team and the regional network to ensure all requirements for training are effectively deployed in market.
  • Oversee the network\'s adoption and participation in the Retail Academy training program, tracking compliance and attendance and introducing remedial actions as necessary.
  • Where there is a regional training need which sits outside of the core programme strategy, work with the Global Training Project Manager to ascertain ROI, regional budget and delivery timelines
  • Offer regional feedback to help develop the annual training strategy, the objective for Lotus to be at the forefront automotive training globally.
  • Review and offer feedback on core training programmes to ensure the development of highly engaging digital and physical learning best suited to the region.
  • Support the design of learning resources and materials that reflect an understanding of the region.
  • Work with the central team to develop, co-ordinate and deploy in region face-to-face experiential training
  • You will work with several internal departments and SME\'s (covering technical, product, engineering, aftersales) to assist in the design, roll-out and engagement of training that meets the needs of our diverse retail network.
This role requires the ability to work with SME\'s in region to define key learning objectives and ensure these are successfully addressed via the content and delivery training approach.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Essential:
  • Proven experience of running training programmes within an automotive environment
  • Experience in developing and managing learning and development programmes
  • Experience of working with a learning management system, understanding the typical issues and constraints
  • Understanding of varied learning styles
  • Knowledge of assessment and evaluation methods
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent communicator, speaking and writing
  • Proven ability to articulate complex problems, recommend and execute on solutions.
  • Degree level qualification
  • Excellent Motor Industry experience
  • Self-motivated and fast paced
  • Excellent presentation skills
