About the Role:
The Supply Planning Deployment Specialist\xe2\x80\x99s main objective is to optimize the management of the distribution of finished goods to maximize case fill on customer orders and satisfy co-packing requirements while minimizing transportation and warehousing costs.The role will cover the requirements of all Markets (UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Yemen, Qatar)
Main Responsibilities:
The supply planning - deployment specialist main responsibilies are to maximize direct ship opportunities from a manufacturing location while maximizing case fill on customer orders. This includes ensuring appropriate safety stock levels are maintained and ensure stock fill rate and freshness targets are reached. She/he helps to achieve monthly shipping target and communicates Alerts on Short Term product supply issues. The deployment specialist needs to provide updates to the Supply Planning Manager to support communications to Sales and Marketing on execution against strategic customer programs. As this role requires a lot of metrics, the deployment specialist needs to utilize those key metrics to measure and improve performance (containers saturation, stock coverage, stock in the plant,\xe2\x80\xa6). In addition, she/he needs to analyze the data in problem resolution and trend identification. As part of a larger supply chain team, the deployment specialist supports Supply Chain initiatives & drive process improvement.
Who we are looking for:
If you have around 5 years of experience in supply planning, including 1 to 3 years of experience in supply planning deployment at an FMCG company, this might be the right role for you. We are looking for someone who will play a key role in coordinating between the stakeholders in the factories and in the region to ensure the correct depletion of the stock. Thus, you will need to have a great knowledge and experience in the supply planning process. this includes some technical skills like being proficient in Excel, SAP APO (Planning modules), SAP ECC (Inventory). In addition, having excellent written and verbal communication skills will help you to succeed in this role. You will be required to write and present detailed inventory reports. You might be the holder of a Bachelor\'s degree in business management, logistics, or a related field.In addition, as we are a very diverse region, you must be fluent in english language. If you enjoy being analytical, have advanced mathematical skills or have experience with statistical analysis, you will definitely want to apply for this opening. We will need your skills and ability to identify and anticipate stock prices based on market trends.
