Regional Social Media Manager Zuma Middle East, Turkey & Asia

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and talented Social Media Manager to lead our digital platforms for the Middle East, Turkey & Asia (primarily, but not limited to, Instagram & Facebook) based in Dubai, as part of a growing global team.

The role will report to the Global Head of Social Media, based in our London Head Office, and will oversee the management of all channels, content creation and support across our regional Zuma locations. A vast wealth of knowledge when it comes to Dubai, the Middle East, Turkey, Asia and local happenings and culture is essential. The ability to travel frequently throughout these locations is a must.

The ideal candidate has hospitality experience, or at least a thorough knowledge of the sector, who is passionate about all things social media & luxury lifestyle brands. Experience working closely with in-house management teams across all departments as well as external PR/creative agencies, who deeply understands the importance of communication, data reporting and online-community management.

Strong written, communication, analytical, organizational and creative skills are required with previous experience working in a management role within Social Media or Digital Marketing.

Responsibilities

- Inherently leading social narratives

- Proactive in providing innovative social-first thinking & ideas

- Leading the development of the monthly content calendars across all locations, overseeing the planning

and approval of any social media coordinators or junior management

- Creation and implementation of scheduled social posts

- Provide quarterly reports to the Global Head of Social Media of data insights across all platforms

- Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills

- Experienced in content creation (IE: branded stories/editing reels/infographics/use of Canva)

- In-depth reactive & proactive community management

- Being on the pulse with trends and content opportunities to be responsive & reactive with ideas

through social listening and industry trends

- Experienced in the crisis management process & working with the senior management team

to efficiently resolve any customer issues

- Activate and oversee seasonal campaigns

- Training of any future junior individuals who may join the social media team

Requirements

- Active on social media channels and shows passion for the space

- Excellent written and verbal communication skill

- Experience in/working with influencers & content creators

- In-house marketing experience, working well within a team

- Minimum 2 year in a similar managerial role within the sector
