Regional Sales Manager (Sales and Business Development)
to lead our GCC operations and expand our customer portfolio across
Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE
. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on leadership of local operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
international freight forwarding, trading, and client acquisition in the GCC
, with proven experience navigating the region's logistics networks, free zones, and customs requirements. A
strong client portfolio within the GCC import/export community is a must
.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify, engage, and secure B2B clients across
Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE
for freight forwarding and trading services.
Develop customized logistics and sourcing solutions tailored to GCC customer needs.
Promote
LCL/FCL consolidation, multimodal transport, and sourcing services from China and other global hubs
.
Build and manage a strong
sales pipeline
to meet and exceed KPIs and revenue targets.
Draft and negotiate
commercial proposals, long-term contracts, and regional partnerships
.
Act as the lead commercial representative for the GCC region.
Ensure
operational alignment
with regional sales goals, including coordination with customs brokers, free zone operators, and local carriers.
Represent the company at
industry exhibitions, chambers of commerce, and networking events
across the GCC.
Collaborate with operations, sourcing, and warehousing teams for
seamless cross-border client service
.
Monitor
market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates
to inform GCC sales strategies.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain and expand relationships with
logistics partners, free zone authorities, shipping lines, airlines, and freight agents
across the GCC.
Develop and nurture a
strong portfolio of customers and key accounts
in industries such as retail, construction, energy, and e-commerce.
Ensure high levels of
customer satisfaction
through consistent service delivery and proactive follow-up.
Requirements
Minimum
2 years' experience in international B2B sales or business development
, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or international trading within the GCC.
Proven client network
in import/export, especially with GCC-based companies and free zone operators.
Strong
customer portfolio
in the region.
Deep understanding of
INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and GCC trade regulations
(including free zones, VAT rules, and cross-border trucking).
Fluency in English
is required;
Arabic language skills
are a strong advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals.
Working Conditions:
- Expected Date of Recruitment: Negotiable
- Salary: Salary depending on experience and skills
- Term of the Contract: 1 year renewable contract
- Working Hours: 09:00-18:00 Monday-Saturday
- Annual leaves: As per UAE labor law
