Regional Manager – Gcc Market (luxury Travel)

Job Description

The Role:
Sales & Business Development

  • Drive commercial growth across the GCC market (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman).
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with global business goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key travel partners, including luxury travel agencies, tour operators, and cruise specialists.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities in both B2B and B2C segments.
  • Represent the company at major industry events, exhibitions, and trade fairs across the Middle East.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular insights and forecasts to headquarters.
  • Negotiate and close high-value partnerships and group agreements.
  • Actively pursue charter and group business opportunities aligned with the company's expedition product.
  • Identify and convert new-to-brand opportunities, particularly through strategic agency outreach and niche market targeting.
  • Create annual business plans, promotional budgets, and forecasting reports to support growth targets.
  • Manage expenses in line with corporate travel and entertainment budgets.
Marketing & Communication
  • Serve as the key link between the global marketing headquarters and on-ground GCC marketing team.
  • Coordinate media partnerships, co-marketing campaigns, and PR initiatives to strengthen regional brand visibility.
  • Oversee Arabic-language marketing assets and brand communications to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Stay informed of regional travel trends and competitor activity to adapt messaging and positioning.
  • Track progress using internal Customer Relationship Marketing tools, maintaining a clean pipeline and performance reporting.
  • Research the market and competitors to gain insights.
  • Collaborate with the local and corporate marketing departments to develop effective promotional materials and targeted campaigns to support sales efforts.
Client & Partner Relations
  • Provide account management and commercial support to key distributors, agents, and travel advisors.
  • Deliver product training sessions, webinars, and familiarization trips for travel partners.
  • Cultivate relationships with tourism boards, consulates, and luxury hospitality brands for joint initiatives.
  • Manage VIP and corporate client relationships to enhance loyalty and long-term engagement.
Ideal Profile:
  • English and Arabic - Fluent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or Hospitality.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing within the luxury travel, cruise, or hospitality industries.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strategic partnerships across the GCC.
  • Excellent understanding of regional travel distribution networks and consumer behavior in the Middle East.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, data reporting, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region and occasionally abroad.
  • Culturally sensitive, adaptable, and capable of representing a high-end international brand.
  • High-level communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter, comfortable working remotely with minimal oversight while being a collaborative team player.
  • Based in the region, legally authorized to work in one of the GCC countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to access clubs and luxury niches.
  • Comfortable working with all levels within a business, from team members to C-Suite, with high levels of empathy for their priorities and decision-making influencers.
  • Ability to work within an international environment.
  • Committed to the long-term plan to scale the business, with a willingness and appetite to rapidly pursue early gains while contributing to the long-term strategy.
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure robust compliance processes to protect sensitive client/business data.
  • Review current processes and implement new ones (as required) to mitigate any risks to the company's systems/data.
