Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial
Regional Manager - EMEA
to spearhead the development and commercialisation of Proa's products and services across the region.

Based in Dubai, this role will act as the
primary regional representative of Proa
, working closely with our Australian HQ to implement strategic initiatives, drive market expansion, and serve as the operational bridge between global strategy and local execution.
Reporting to Proa's Head of Growth, this is an exciting opportunity for a
versatile professional
who thrives at the intersection of technology and business development.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
Operational Liaison:
Act as the main point of contact for operational matters, coordinating closely with HQ on logistics, compliance, and support.
Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, government entities, and end users.
Technical Customer Support:
act as the first point of contact to support customers in the region, providing advice on the technical solutions for their projects and periodically supporting field deployments. Get on the tools on the odd occasion.
Market Strategy:
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to regional market dynamics and aligned with HQ priorities.
Commercialisation:
Lead the regional rollout of Proa's products and services, including pricing, sales enablement, and customer acquisition.
Reporting & Insights:
Provide regular updates and market intelligence to HQ, including performance tracking, risks, and emerging opportunities.
Skills & Experience
Essential
A degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related technical field
Highly versatile and entrepreneurial aptitude.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously towards goals.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong technical acumen; able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated success in customer management, proposal preparation, and tender processes
Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and contracting
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
Track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing commercial opportunities
Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
Full Work Competency in English
Desirable
Experience in the renewable energy sector
Fluency in French and Arabic are a bonus
Experience working with distributed or cross-cultural teams
