About the Role:
The role of the MISA Sub-Regional Engineering Manager will be responsible for organising, planning, and managing engineering resourced in the sub-region to ensure the projects and initiatives are on-time, budget, and scope are delivered. The role will work cross functionally, and it is important that the successful candidate has experience in both a manufacturing and capital investment environment given this position will work closely with RDA, Manufacturing, Quality and Safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assisting in the development of MISA\'s site operational engineering teams.
  • Responsible for supporting engineering functional strategy in line with Kerry\'s Engineering Pillars and Guiding Principles
  • Responsible for providing technical assistance to MISA sites on engineering solutions to support manufacturing.
  • Responsible for assisting APMEA VP of Engineering in supporting site engineering performance, organisation, and skill management.
  • Responsible for implementing and applying engineering structure and procedures compliant with standards of global engineering and best practices within the MISA sub-region.
  • Responsible for facilitating the engagement of SME and Engineering Service Providers into sites requiring assistance and technical know-how.
  • Responsible for providing assistance to sub-regional reporting of engineering activities to senior management.
  • Responsible for ensuring that projects are implemented in-line with Kerry local site and relevant legislative standards, policies, codes, regulations and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all appropriated Kerry technical standards are applied during project implementation and the final installation complies with all relevant health, safety and environment codes and legislations.
  • Responsible for engaging the necessary stakeholders and guiding manufacturing teams through the development of technical solutions and project scope development.
  • Responsible for leading the technical support of Kerry Capital Approval System and Kerry\'s Project Management Standard
  • Support procurement in activities to standardize equipment, vendors and leverage Kerry Group spend to reduce overall capital expenditure.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • Minimum Third Level Degree in an Engineering discipline (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Industrial)
  • Minimum 10 years\' Engineering experience in a multinational environment
  • Must have experience managing and conducting projects in other countries.
  • Must have previously worked in the Food / Food Ingredients industry.
  • Good understanding of SPC, FMEA, six-sigma and Lean Manufacturing
  • Involvement / Exposure to capital projects of than between 8 to 15m Euros
  • Cross functional team management and engagement
  • Experience in factory engineering, production equipment and maintenance strategy
  • Familiar with project management tools
  • Strong track record of on-time, on-budget, and on-specification delivery of projects.
  • Fluent in English and local language

  • Good technology skills and capability to use appropriate Project Management and standard business tools such as MS Project, Excel, Word etc.
