Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex and high-risk credit and collection issues
  • Personally engage with key clients to resolve overdue payments, disputes, and negotiate repayment plans
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support timely payments and long-term collaboration
  • Develop, implement, and enforce regional credit control policies aligned with company standards
  • Assess and approve credit terms for new and existing clients in line with risk management guidelines
  • Monitor accounts receivable and proactively identify potential credit risks
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the regional credit control team to meet performance targets
  • Collaborate closely with operations and project teams to resolve billing disputes and agree action plans
  • Oversee collection of outstanding invoices to support healthy cash flow
  • Prepare detailed reports on aged debt, collection performance, and cash flow forecasts
  • Lead weekly internal cash reporting calls and consolidate regional cash forecasts
  • Challenge and validate forecast data from regions and countries to ensure accuracy
  • Support quarterly outlook reviews and annual financial planning processes
  • Ensure regional credit control activities comply with global finance standards and policies
  • Support offshoring initiatives and drive continuous improvement in credit control processes
  • Participate in special finance projects and cross-functional initiatives as required
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in finance with a strong focus on credit management and working capital
  • Proven experience managing credit risk and collections within complex organizations
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to negotiate and resolve disputes effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and forecasting capabilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
