Regional Air Freight Support Intern

Support regional Airfreight team by assisting with data compilation, report preparation, and project management tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience in data analytics, supply chain operations, and project coordination. The intern will work closely with the regional product (commercial and operations) teams to ensure smooth operations and contribute to optimization of our processes.

In this Regional Air Freight Support Intern Position

• Top RFQ List Updates: regularly update and maintain the top Request for Quotation (RFQ) list to ensure accuracy
• Data Management for MTS ATA reports: download and organize source data required for the MTS ATA reports
• RFQ Country Submissions: compile RFQ country submissions and responses into a comprehensive regional master file for further analysis
• Research & Data Gathering: assist in gathering and researching country-specific information to showcase capabilities and unique selling propositions (USPs) for regional AFR presentations
• Carrier Performance Reports: prepare performance reports for carrier meetings, ensuring data is accurate and presented effectively
• Marketing Liaison: work closely with the marketing team to obtain regional AFR campaigns, presentations, and materials for customer quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and calls
• Volume Data Collection: Assist in obtaining and organizing volume details for award notices
• Meeting Support: assist in organizing RFQ strategy meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items
• Data Updates & Analytics: gather and update data for various external market and internal pricing analytics tools
• Airfreight Pipeline Analysis: prepare weekly summaries and growth analysis of the airfreight pipeline
• Operational KPI Analysis: support preparation of reports and analysis of operational KPIs, highlighting key findings for operations calls
• Data Quality Improvements: analyze data quality reports and collaborate with country teams to address and eliminate data quality issues
• Project Management Support: assist in managing various operations projects, including creating project plans, scheduling meetings with stakeholders, generating meeting minutes, and ensuring timely follow-up and output delivery

• Communicate information that requires little explanation or interpretation
• Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships

• Experience: less than 2 years
