PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The purpose of this position is to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods to customers and warehouses using company commercial trucks. The role includes temperature maintenance, product handling, delivery documentation, vehicle upkeep, and customer coordination. The driver must strictly follow route plans, delivery schedules, cold chain policies, and safety compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License. Minimum 2 years experience driving refrigerated / commercial trucks in UAE. Knowledge of Dubai - Sharjah - Ajman route networks. Ability to handle delivery documents, invoices, and POD (Proof of Delivery). Basic communication & good discipline.

High School/GED Minimum Preferred

DIMENSIONS OF POSITION:

Primary Delivery Responsibilities:

Drive company refrigerated trucks safely and responsibly. Ensure on-time delivery to customers, as per schedule. Maintain cold chain during transport (monitor & record trailer temperature). Verify items, quantity & condition during loading and unloading. Obtain customer signature & stamp on invoices / delivery notes. Return completed delivery documents to Logistics Office daily.

Vehicle & Reefer Maintenance:

Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspection. Keep truck clean, fueled, and serviced as per schedule. Immediately report mechanical issues or temperature faults. Maintain kilometer log, diesel slip records, and service history.

Operational & Work Discipline:

Follow route plans and avoid unauthorized deviations. Communicate delays, rejections, or delivery issues promptly. Maintain professional behavior at customer locations. Comply with company safety rules & defensive driving guidelines.

Safety: Zero accidents, proper driving posture, PPE use

Delivery Performance:- On-time delivery and proper customer coordination

Documentation :- Accurate invoice handling, POD submission, stock confirmation

Vehicle Care :- Cleanliness, preventive maintenance, fuel efficiency

PHYSICAL EFFORTS

Must be physically fit to assist in loading / unloading support when required.

Work involves frequent driving and cold store entry.

Pay: AED2,600.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
