To oversee deployment of 3rd party resources and to ensure optimal resource allocation at various reefer blocks based on operational requirements and reefer volumes handled. To monitor and ensure that plug in and plug out operations are carried out by the deployed contractual staff safely as per terminal KPI. To continuously monitor TOS reefer monitoring screen as well as remote monitoring applications and to ensure that live reefers always plugged in and exceptional alarms, faults are attended as early as possible. To ensure minimum off power interval for live reefers while discharge, gate out and shuffling operations and to co-ordinate with control room, stowage planners whenever necessary. To ensure that all the live reefer containers in reefer yard are monitored during pre-determined intervals and reefer details are updated as required. Communicate all the reefer exceptions and breakdowns via e-mail to reefer operations team to effect timely attendance and repairs. To co-ordinate with DPWIT, TOS support, yard planning teams in case live reefer containers are noticed with discrepancies in yard location, temperature etc. To attend breakdown calls reported from yard by contractual staff and to escalate the case to reefer break down attendance crew as applicable. To attend malfunctions, exceptions reported at the time of loading & gate out and to ensure that there is no delay incurred for vessel loading/gate out operations. To send routine reefer variation report and reefer out of range report to line operator/box agent, whenever such an exception is reported from yard by deployed contractual staff. To diagnose faults and defects on reefer equipment and deliver professional solutions to rectify them. To closely co-ordinate with reefer operations team and to handle gate in export reefer temperature confirmation/update in system as per existing reefer yard procedures. To conduct routine rounds in reefer yard blocks and to ensure that all reefer containers are physically plugged in and power cables of live reefer containers are safely secured in cable trays (no knots allowed) To co-ordinate with Engineering HV team in case of power failures are observed /reported from yard and to ensure that all the power outlets/related components are in safe working conditions. To maintain the safe working and hygiene practices in the reefer operation work areas including the reefer yard areas, reefer container stacking facilities and reefer shelters thus adding support to the smooth flow of terminal operations.
