We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated
Recruiter
with a strong background in the
Oil & Gas industry
to join our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier professionals for technical and non-technical roles within the sector. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the oil and gas recruitment market, an extensive network, and the ability to manage multiple vacancies across different disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruitment
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
Collaborate with department heads to identify hiring needs and develop job descriptions
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience from application to onboarding
Sourcing & Talent Acquisition
Use various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, referrals, and industry-specific platforms
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates, particularly for technical roles (engineers, HSE, project managers, etc.)
Attend industry events, job fairs, and networking forums to expand candidate outreach
Industry Expertise & Stakeholder Engagement
Understand job requirements specific to the oil and gas sector (upstream, midstream, downstream)
Screen for technical capabilities, certifications, and project experience in line with client or project specifications
Work closely with hiring managers, project leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely hiring
Reporting & Compliance
Maintain up-to-date records of all candidates and recruitment activities using ATS or HRIS tools
Prepare weekly/monthly recruitment status reports
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum
3-5 years of recruitment experience
, with at least
2 years in the Oil & Gas industry
Strong understanding of job functions in oil and gas projects (drilling, production, EPC, maintenance, safety, etc.)
Proven experience in sourcing and hiring for both white-collar and blue-collar roles
Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter
Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities under tight deadlines
