Job Description

Job Purpose
The Recruiter for Blue Collar Hiring will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment cycle for all non-executive roles within our logistics facilities. This includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates for positions such as Drivers, Warehouse Assistants, Packers, Loaders, Forklift Operators, and other operational staff. The ideal candidate will be an expert in high-volume recruitment within the UAE's logistics sector, ensuring we meet our staffing needs efficiently and with the highest quality candidates.
Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for blue-collar vacancies, from requisition to offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Sourcing & Attraction: Utilize a multi-channel approach to source candidates, including job portals (e.g., Indeed, Bayt, Dubizzle), social media, employee referrals, walk-in interviews, and networking.
  • Screening & Assessment: Conduct initial phone screenings and in-person interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, attitude, and cultural fit. Administer practical assessments where necessary (e.g., forklift tests).
  • Logistics Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of the logistics sector to accurately evaluate candidates' experience with specific equipment (e.g., forklift licenses, truck driving licenses), warehouse management systems (WMS), and understanding of logistics workflows.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all hiring practices comply with UAE labor law. Manage the collection and verification of candidate documents, including visas, licenses, and certificates.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with hiring managers and operations team leaders to understand their staffing requirements, provide market insights, and manage expectations throughout the hiring process.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or recruitment database. Generate reports on recruitment metrics like time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates.
  • Candidate Experience: Provide a positive and professional experience for all candidates, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Recruiter, specifically in high-volume blue-collar hiring within the UAE.
  • Non-negotiable experience within the Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation sectors.
  • Deep understanding of the roles and requirements for various blue-collar positions in a logistics environment (e.g., HGV/LGV driving licenses, forklift certifications).
  • Familiarity with UAE labor law and immigration processes related to employment visas.
  • Proficiency with major job portals and social media recruiting tools.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, or other languages is a significant advantage.
  • High-Volume Recruitment: Ability to manage a large number of requisitions simultaneously without compromising on quality or speed.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike.
