No relocation assistance will be provided. The position is eligible for remote employment, it will exclude the following locations: Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Hawaii, Mississippi, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming. The Recruiter will manage full life cycle recruiting process for the hiring of roles at Macmillan Learning. They will be responsible for maintaining close partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration throughout the talent acquisition process. The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective strategies to attract diverse, qualified candidates and increase brand awareness in the marketplace, helping ensure efficiency and equity in internal and candidate-facing processes. The Recruiter infuses Macmillan Learning's diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy and goals throughout the recruiting process, ensuring both diverse candidate pools and inclusive hiring practices among the managers they are working with. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including but not limited to: setting recruiting strategy with department heads and managers, overseeing interview and selection materials, actively sourcing candidates through a variety of platforms, screening and interviewing candidates, and designing equitable compensation package offers. Macmillan Learning's diversity, equity, and inclusion goals will need to be infused throughout each step of the recruiting process by identifying new, diverse candidate pools, creation of competency-based selection rubrics, etc.Drive various special recruiting projects such as: building resources and training modules for internal employees, improving existing processes and identifying and defining new processes when necessary, and performing research on competitive, innovative, and diverse recruiting strategies. Partner with the Office of DEI and leadership team to develop special initiatives, set recruiting KPIs and performance measurement, and partnering with selected diverse organizations. Present and implement recommendations based on research into recruiting and market trends, and external best practices to enhance strategy and to hit recruitment targets.Improve employer branding reputation, reach, and effectiveness by generating and publishing content about the company mission, goals, benefits, and thought leadership through social media (internal and external), networking groups, and recruiting events.Manage vendor relationships, including third party agencies, online sourcing platforms, and institutions from which we recruit. Present and implement recommendations that enhance strategy, best practices, and recruitment results. Essential Qualifications: 5 years' experience in full cycle talent acquisitionExcellent organizational and follow-up skills, including ability to plan ahead, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyExperience working in a distributed team environmentExperience initiating, collaborating on, implementing, and communicating process improvementsAgility in ambiguous situations with the ability to manage competing priorities, change in process and assignmentsExperience building strong relationships at different levels within an organizationAbility to build productive relationships within the Macmillan network and in the marketplaceExperience keeping up with multiple avenues of communication, providing updates to stakeholders, and reprioritizing as new information comes inAbility to handle and prioritize multiple ranges of administrative duties requiring independent judgment and initiativeExperience communicating complex process information verbally, in writing, and in presentation to diverse audiencesPosition requires long periods of close concentration and multi-tasking in noisy/busy open office environment.
