The Recreation Supervisor will assist in managing the gym and spa areas, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction, smooth team performance, and achievement of sales and operational targets in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management

• Support the recreation team in delivering excellent customer service and overseeing fitness activities
• Coordinate gym schedules, classes, and daily operations to meet guest and member needs
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all spa and recreation areas
• Conduct daily briefings and assist in managing staff rosters and attendance
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide guidance on wellness services and facilities

Team Training & Leadership

• Train and supervise recreation team members according to Mxc3xb6venpick's standards
• Monitor grooming and professional appearance of staff
• Assist in conducting performance reviews and providing coaching
• Foster a collaborative, guest-focused, and high-performing team culture

Guest Engagement

• Create and promote personal training plans, wellness tips, and spa offerings
• Interact with guests during events and ensure high satisfaction levels
• Actively review feedback and implement improvements

Financial & Administrative Support

• Accurately handle membership fee payments and maintain member records
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and operational documentation
• Support marketing and sales efforts to meet membership and revenue goals
• Help track inventory, purchasing, and expenses for gym and spa areas

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a fitness or spa supervisory role in hospitality
• Previous experience as Spa Supervisor or similar capacity
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive, solution-focused attitude and a passion for wellness
• Familiarity with fitness scheduling, customer service tools, and reporting
