Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Register new patients and update existing records in the system.
Manage patient flow and ensure proper coordination with doctors and nurses.
Insurance Coordination:
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.
Obtain insurance approvals and submit pre-authorization requests for procedures.
Coordinate with insurance companies for claim submissions, resubmissions, and follow-ups.
Explain insurance benefits, coverage, and co-payments to patients.
Maintain accurate records of approvals, denials, and claim statuses.
Ensure timely processing of claims to avoid delays in reimbursement.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist and/or insurance coordinator in a medical facility.
Knowledge of UAE insurance processes, portals and claim submission systems.
Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare software (e.g., HMS).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and professional demeanor.
