in the UAE healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Manage patient appointments, scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups.
Register new patients and update existing records accurately in the EMR system.
Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Verify insurance coverage, process insurance approvals, and coordinate claims.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with clinic policies and UAE healthcare regulations.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
Collect payments, issue receipts, and maintain daily cash records.
Support doctors and nurses with administrative tasks as required.
Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
Requirements:
Female candidates only
(as per clinic requirement).
Currently based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate.
Minimum
2 years of experience
as a receptionist in a
medical or healthcare facility
.
Strong working knowledge of
EMR systems
(e.g., Cortex, Dok32, etc.).
Proven
experience with medical insurance processes
- eligibility verification, approvals, and claims submission.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Professional appearance and patient-oriented attitude.
Proficient in MS Office and general computer applications.
Working Hours:
Full-time, as per UAE labor law and clinic operational schedule (may include weekends or shifts if required).
