The Veterinary Clinic Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and their pets. This role involves greeting clients, managing appointment scheduling, answering phone calls, processing payments, and supporting the veterinary team in creating a welcoming and organized environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about animal care.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and pets in a warm, professional manner.
Answer multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, and handle client inquiries.
Check in and check out clients, process payments, and issue receipts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and client records using veterinary practice software.
Communicate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Prepare and maintain reception and waiting areas (cleanliness, supplies, etc.).
Handle and file paperwork, including new client forms, consent forms, and medical records.
Provide basic information on clinic services, pet care, and policies.
Manage email and voicemail communications.
Assist with inventory, mail, and administrative support as needed.
Ad hoc work as required
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior receptionist, customer service, or veterinary clinic experience is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with veterinary software is a plus
Compassion for animals and empathy for their owners.
Availability to work weekends or evenings as required.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
