A Receptionist is the first point of contact who handles visitor inquiries, manages front-desk administrative tasks, and serves as a communication hub for students, staff, and parents. Their duties include greeting visitors, answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing mail and deliveries, maintaining records, and ensuring the reception area is tidy and organized. They also assist with clerical duties and provide essential information about the RLC programs and policies, collecting the payments, maintaining the files of students, contract and so forth.
Under the guidance of the Russian Language Centre Coordinator/ Working days from Monday to Saturday:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet and greet parents, students, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression of the RLC.
2. Handle enquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information about programs, admissions, and activities.
3. Process payments and maintain accurate financial and administrative records in coordination with the RLC Administrator.
4. Manage admissions documentation -- collect, file, and ensure proper completion and signing of application forms and contracts.
5. Follow up with prospective students and parents, providing timely updates and support throughout the admissions process.
6. Coordinate communication -- send reminders, announcements, and standard messages to students and parents.
7. Monitor attendance and visitor flow, working closely with security to ensure safety and compliance with school protocols.
8. Maintain databases and records, updating student and parent contact details and admissions statistics.
9. Provide administrative support -- printing, copying, preparing certificates, and assisting with daily RLC operations.
10. Ensure confidentiality and effective collaboration with the Principal of the RSAD and Administration of the RLC on all matters related to reception and admissions.
Essential:
1. University degree (duly notarized and attested);
2. Relevant experience; Experience working in a school will be an advantage;
3. Proficiency in Russian and English languages;
The Receptionist is expected to:
Work independently without the need for continuous supervision;
Perform tasks with care and precision
Present school in a professional manner
Have excellent IT skills to operate Microsoft Office programs
