We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Receptionist with 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare environment. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, managing front desk operations, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; take messages when necessary.
Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments using the clinic's system.
Verify patient information and update medical records accurately.
Handle patient inquiries, provide information on services, and guide them to the appropriate department.
Manage check-in/check-out process, including collection of payments, issuance of receipts, and insurance verification (if applicable).
Maintain front desk cleanliness, organization, and availability of forms and materials.
Coordinate with nurses, doctors, and other staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Handle incoming/outgoing mail, emails, and deliveries.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records and comply with clinic policies and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1-2 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare/clinical setting.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with medical scheduling software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is an advantage.
Work Conditions:
