Key Responsibilities Related to the NABIDH System:
Patient Registration and Data Entry
: Accurately enter and update patient demographic and insurance information into the clinic's Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring all data fields required for the NABIDH Minimum Data Set (MDS) are complete.
Emirates ID Verification
: Use the patient's Emirates ID for identification and to ensure correct patient matching within the NABIDH system.
Data Confidentiality and Consent
: Adhere strictly to DHA privacy laws and the NABIDH consent policy, explaining data sharing and privacy protocols to patients and obtaining informed consent for data access.
Appointment Management
: Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments, linking them to patient records in the EMR system to ensure an accurate "encounter" summary is available for eventual submission to NABIDH.
Billing and Claims Processing
: Process payments, collect co-pays, and verify insurance eligibility through the system. Ensure all billing information is accurately documented to facilitate smooth third-party insurance claims tracking and submission via the integrated system.
Record Management
: Scan and upload relevant patient documents (e.g., insurance cards, external medical reports) into the EMR system, ensuring a complete digital record is available and contributes to the unified medical record.
System Coordination
: Work with the clinic's EMR system, which automatically collects and sends the necessary data to the NABIDH platform as a visit summary.
