We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist with experience in dental insurance to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in handling dental office administrative tasks and insurance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients in a professional and courteous manner.
Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and follow-ups efficiently.
Handle dental insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and claims processing.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide accurate information to patients.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Coordinate with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure smooth office operations.
Assist in billing, invoicing, and payment collection when needed.
Manage email correspondence and maintain an organized front desk area.
Handle patient complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a receptionist in a dental office with insurance handling experience.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Familiarity with dental management software is a plus.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
