We are looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the first smiling face our clients see when they walk in!

Position Summary

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets. Your role is to ensure a warm, professional, and efficient front desk experience. From greeting clients and managing bookings to handling administrative tasks, you'll play a vital role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival.

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls as needed.

Schedule grooming appointments and manage the booking calendar.

Check clients in and out, process payments, and issue receipts.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and pet records.

Handle administrative duties such as filing, emails, and data entry.

Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and welcoming.

Communicate effectively with groomers and pet care staff to coordinate services.

Provide support to the team with light administrative or facility-related tasks.

Maintain professionalism, empathy, and patience in all client interactions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred).

Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, or administrative roles (experience in pet care or veterinary settings is an advantage).

A genuine love for animals and comfort working around dogs and cats.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Friendly, professional, and approachable personality.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Familiarity with scheduling software or POS systems is a plus.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if needed.
