Job Summary

The Receptionist cum Cashier is responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, handling front desk operations, and managing billing and payments efficiently. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth patient flow and excellent customer service in a medical facility.

Key Responsibilities: Reception Duties

:

Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Register patients and update their personal and insurance information accurately. Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and referrals. Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls appropriately. Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area. Coordinate with medical and nursing staff regarding patient flow and appointments.

Cashier Duties

:

Generate bills and invoices for services rendered. Receive payments in cash, card, or other approved methods. Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of daily transactions. Reconcile daily collections and hand over to accounts as per facility protocol. Handle petty cash disbursements and replenishments if required. Assist in resolving billing issues or discrepancies with patients.

Requirements

:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in administration or accounting is a plus. Prior at least 1-2 years experience as a receptionist or cashier in a medical facility preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using MS Office and medical management software (e.g., HIS, EMR systems). Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and billing. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Can join immediately Fluent speaking in Arabic and English.
